Small actions of peace and love

In a world where misery and chaos seems overwhelming, after a while it's hard to believe that we can affect any change. The sense of isolation and helplessness is the dark monster that consumes hope and love.

I'll be honest, ALC isn't a ball of fun, laugh a minute event. It's a lot of hard work for al of us involved. It's amazing how much work it takes to get a bottle of meds on someone's table, to get bit of info to the right person, to give shelter and care for a night. The government's help is getting less and less. But we all get together and do this because sitting on our asses - inaction - will let the monster of hopelessness consume ourselves and the world around us.

Support me and my buddies in this and join our team. Just the equivalent of a drink, a cup of coffee, keeps us moving forward. Would you buy me a drink?

From June 1-7, 2008, I'm participating as a volunteer Roadie in the Sweep Team in AIDS/LifeCycle. It's a 7-day, 545-mile bike ride from San Francisco to Los Angeles to make a world of difference in the lives of people living with HIV and AIDS.

Help me support the San Francisco AIDS Foundation by giving what you can. We'll keep helping until AIDS and HIV are a thing of the past.

Bang 4 the Buck women's sex & play party ALC Fundraider
Kelly B and I throw an awesome women's party in Seattle and SF that's a totally wild ALC fundraiser. 18+ only.

My Birthday Bash at Beach Blanket Babylon. May 2nd!
Well, I really suck at asking individuals to donate... so I throw parties. Some of my parties, like Bang 4 The Buck, are naughty. But I wanted to something that you could take your vanilla friends and family to. After all, HIV affects all of us.

So I'm throwing a birthday bash on May 2nd. (My actual birthday is May 4th). Kelly and I bought out the whole main floor of Beach Blanket Babylon - a wacky, funny, fun theater that's been long popular here in San Francisco. We're reselling the ticket for a great get together and fundraiser.

There are still seats available. I really hope you'll join me in celebrating my birthday and celebrating a healthier world! (Yup, 100% of the proceeds goes to my ALC fundraising...)

Buy your tickets here! http://www.planetmidori.com/bbb/

Dress up! Dandy, sexy, elegant, drag, leather formal, cycle gear and motorcycle wear encouraged!

Would you kindly tell your friends?
