Welcome! Cycling Chingonas is partnering with Eden Bicycles of Castro Valley for the Eden East Bay Epic Training Rides. These rides are designed to prepare you mentally and physically for this year’s ALC ride in June. We will choose different routes in the East Bay to challenge you and prepare you for that time when you say “why the hell did I sign up this?” It’s gonna be great! AIDS/LifeCycle official training rides are an inclusive and safe space welcoming ANY and ALL, regardless of skill level or cycling pace.
This week’s ride is super chill and while it’s a good long ride, we will not kill you with intense climbing! You can get to that later. We will leave Castro Valley and head to the beautiful Bay Trail and follow it along the bay, through Alameda and into Oakland. From there we will roll out to the Bay Bridge and up the incline for some amazing views of the bay at Treasure Island.
