Waller Hills – Friday Ride
29 / 45 Miles, Rolling Hills with Gradual Climbs
Ride ID 741
Meet: 7:30 AM
Ride-Out: 8:00 AM
Rain Cancels
Houston-Area ALC Training Series
This Friday ride is being offered to those who cannot make the same ride scheduled for Saturday, February 11. It will be our first of the season to introduce some rolling hills! Yes, Waller County has hills, but you have to go to the far northwest corner of the county to ride them. That will be the destination of our primary loop, which is just over 29 miles. Second loop of about 16 miles is southeast of Ride Start, passing by Oil Ranch and Houston Oaks. Both loops start and end at the Shell Station in Field Store on FM 1488. (Google Maps has the address as Waller.) Please park on the east side of the lot near the dumpster and not in front of the store. This ride will be rescheduled in event of rain.
All skill levels are welcome! If any ride is too much, we will work with you on making sure you have alternatives to the entire route. You will have a great bike ride. That’s a win! And remember, safety is critical. We will be following all bicycling laws and regulations as well as COVID regulations.!
