We’ll gather at Griffith Park to kick off our training journey. From there, we’ll head over to S Brand, which serves as the gateway to our main challenge—a 3.5-mile climb up Chevy Chase Dr through the San Rafael Hills. The ascent promises awe-inspiring views and a test of your cycling prowess, making it ideal for intermediate-level riders. After conquering the hills, we’ll enjoy a thrilling descent through the picturesque neighborhoods of Altadena and Pasadena. This downhill stretch offers a moment to catch your breath and soak in the surroundings. We’ll complete our circuit by returning to Griffith Park, where you can bask in the glory of your accomplishment and enjoy some well-deserved rest and camaraderie.
This is a SOCIAL ride and NOT an official Aids Lifecycle training ride. There is no TRL support, and no route sheets. It’s just a bunch of friends meeting new friends and having a good time.
Trudging Buddies is a sober cycling team that celebrates the power and strength in recovery through athletic activities and service.
