The Marin Marauders is an AIDS Lifecycle training group based in Marin County, offering training rides to prepare cyclists for the AIDS Lifecycle 2019. If you live in Marin, this group is perfect for you. If you live in San Francisco, avoid the fog and crowds of the Golden Gate Bridge, and join the group that starts in beautiful and sunny (mostly!) Marin. We meet at the park opposite Marin General Hospital on Bon Air Road in Greenbrae, and ride on Sundays. The Fall Follies series (from October through November) is a non-progressive series designed to keep our bike legs active during fall months. The more pregressive series will start in January. All AIDS/LifeCycle official training rides are an inclusive and safe space welcoming ANY and ALL, regardless of skill level or cycling pace.
We will work those legs today on a ride up to the beautiful Hawk Hill and Rodeo Beach. We will enjoy a leisurely ride over to Sausalito and then climb to the top of Hawk Hill. It’s a big hill but once you are at the top, the views of breathtaking! Once we are rested up we will enjoy a descent to Rodeo beach for some additional photo ops. Lunch will be at Cibo bakery!!
All skill levels are welcome! If any ride is too much, we will work with you on making sure you have alternatives to the entire route. You will have a great bike ride and meet some cool people. That’s a win!
Reach out with any of your questions or concerns. You really can do this.
If you are interested in attending, please be sure to RSVP. Have questions? Contact Ron Hirsch at marinmarauders@gmail.com
REQUIRED ITEMS: bike, helmet, water bottle(s), tire changing tools
When coming to our events, we have been politely asked to park further down Bon Air or on S. Elisio thus making access to the park greater for the general public. Thank you in advance for parking not directly in front of the park.
