Training Wheels is a welcoming and inclusive group of riders in the South Bay area. We welcome riders of all skill and experience levels. Our training gradually increases strength and endurance over the season, building steadily to a fitness level where you will ride to LA! And have fun while doing so.

You gotta put your miles in if you wanna eat that pie with your family come Thursday. You know you want to.
Today’s ride, around 30 miles, give our take. Still base building with a few more rollers and maybe a climb or two. Nothing much, just an introduction. Think of ’em as that bit of cranberry sauce on your turkey sandwich giving it just that great taste!
Theme, a little longer, endurance building, and yup, more of those sprints you are learning to love. Try doing longer sprint pushes and keep the same recovery times between sprints.
And, it’s time to start taking inventory of how you are feeling on the bike. Any soreness that shouldn’t be there? Especially in your knees, arms, back, or the bike/body interface area (your tuckus). As we get into longer distances starting in January you’ll want to ensure a good fit of you to your bike.
