Palm Springs: 46 / 77 Miles Hosted by Desert Roadrunners

March 30 @ 7:00 am - 5:00 pm

Coachella Valley 9 City Tour

46 / 77 Miles Mostly flat with some rolling hills

Meet: 7:00 AM

Ride-Out: 7:30 AM

Heavy Rain Cancels

2 route options: 46 & 77 miles. Long route has 1445′ of climbing. Meet at Townie Bagels at 7 am PDT, ride out at 7:30. This is a “speed route” (but NEVER unsafe). We’ll head east through Demuth Park, hop on Ramon near Costco, then Pit at Starbucks near Varner/Washington. 46 milers will pop over the freeway and pick up the route on Country Club. 77 milers will continue east past Indio all the way to Thermal. Then, we’ll turn back west on Airport Blvd and stair step our way back to La Quinta, where we’ll pit at Starbucks/Subway. On our final leg, we’ll stair step our way all the way to the CVLink in PS (CAUTION CROSS TRAFFIC). After the link, we’ll swing around the north end of PS back to Townie. Wet weather is possible but expected to be light/intermittent. Unless it’s actually raining at our meet time, we will ride, so please dress accordingly. Again, this is a low-climbing speed route – while we demand safe riding at all times, please consider road conditions & traffic. The goal is to challenge yourself to increase your average speed but leave yourself enough energy to get through the entire route.

GPS available on team Strava & Facebook pages (members only)

All skill levels are welcome! If any ride is too much, we will work with you on making sure you have alternatives to the entire route. You will have a great bike ride. That’s a win! And remember, safety is critical. We will be following all bicycling laws and regulations as well as COVID regulations.!

Reach out with any of your questions or concerns. You really can do this.
