We’re a year-round community! Come to any of our workshops, training rides, special events, and social outings, and don’t forget to bring a friend.
If you’re looking for a specific type of event, use the the “Narrow Your Results” menu below to filter by event type (we host all types of events, so there’s something for everybody!) or by Region by selecting NorCal, SoCal, or Outside CA.
39 / 52 / 62 Miles, Mostly flat with some rolling hills
Meet: 8:15 AM
Ride-Out: 9:00 AM
The Houston-Area ALC Training Series provides friendly, no-drop training rides to help prepare you for AIDS/LifeCycle.
There are three possible loops for this ride, all of which start and end at Abe & Irene Levine Park in the center of Sealy. The 39-mile loop goes from Sealy to Burleigh to Bellville, then through Cat Spring and back to Sealy. It has 16 miles of rolling hills. If the wind is blowing from the south, you will face hills and headwind on the way back. The second two loops head east of Sealy toward Stephen F. Austin Park and beyond and are mostly flat. Roads are primarily FM roads or state highways with light to moderate traffic. Convenience stores at service stations will serve as our rest stops. This ride will be re-scheduled in the event of rain.
