SoCal: Chain Gang: Looping The San Gabriel Valley – Rose Bowl to Duarte

Join the Chain Gang for a lovely loop through Pasadena and beyond, all the way to Duarte and back. We meet at the Rose Bowl Aquatic Center and head out into beautiful South Pasadena, through the quiet wide streets of San Marino and Arcadia all the way to our turn around point at Encanto Park in Duarte (water and bathrooms available). On the way back, we make a pit stop at Goldstein’s Bagels in Arcadia before passing through a few of the San Gabriel Valley cities back to the Rose Bowl. With only a few rolling hills, this ride is fairly flat and a fun and picturesque way to test your endurance. We will have plenty of TRLs to support you!
MEETING POINT: We will be meeting in Parking Lot I near the Aquatic Center, Look for TRLs in orange ALC jerseys or vests!

REQUIRED ITEMS: bike, helmet, water bottle(s) & snacks, tire changing tools, pump/Co2 cartridge, and a mask. If you don’t have any of the items listed, please contact us. We’ll help you figure out what you need and where to get it!
COVID-19 Policy: Vaccination is required to participate. All participants must have received one Johnson & Johnson dose or the second Pfizer/Moderna dose at least two weeks before the Training Ride. Masks are required when 6’ of social distancing cannot be maintained. This includes rest stops, indoors and in vehicles with more than one person.
