28, 48 or 80 miles, Rolling Hills
Ride-Out Time: 8:00am
We’re starting early for this great spin up the scenic coast to our first pit stop at Cross Creek in Malibu (28 miles). We will continue to Trancas, just beyond Zuma Beach, for our second pit stop (48 miles) The longer route will take us to Pt. Magu / Las Posas Road with a turnaround at the Naval Base (80 miles) *The longer route is for experienced riders.
You’ll have some great flats to warm-up on as well as good rolling hills on this route. PLEASE use great CAUTION when riding on PCH, you will be riding with traffic.
This part of PCH is not only the last leg on ALC ride, but can be very helpful to your cadence / leg speed which is an important part of your endurance training.
Please be prepared for your rides…,pump your tires up, make sure you have what you need to fix a flat tire and have water and electrolyte replacement in your bottles
