» Training - from beginner to pro you can train
» On the Ride - if you are a cyclist, Our team of Roadies handles everything:
Full meals, plenty of snacks, medical and chiropractic care, camp sites, training, hot showers, and root beer floats.
» If riding bikes isn't your jam, you can still join as a Roadie. You'll do more than just logistics, you'll define the Ride's culture of joy and affirmation!
Ways you can join us:
Cyclist
Our Cyclists have guts, dedication, and strength. They ride the 545 miles from SF to LA and fundraise a minimum of $3K throughout the year. You’ll be paired with a Cyclist Representative who will support your training and fundraising every pedal stroke of the way, no matter your fitness level or fundraising experience.
Roadie
Roadies are the hardworking individuals who volunteer their time for the full week of AIDS/LifeCycle. Every Roadie is placed on a team, led by volunteer Roadie Captains, that determines their working group for the week. For 7 days, these folks dedicate their time, energy, and hearts to waking up very early and going to sleep late to move this event down the coast.

@Home Heroes are an integral part of the AIDS/LifeCycle community! Perhaps you can’t join us for a full week come June - but that doesn’t mean you have to miss out on supporting our mission as a member of our community. Choose your challenge: a fundraising goal, a mileage count, and a community focus that keeps you committed!

Our volunteers support AIDS/LifeCycle one day at a time! From supporting individual Special Events throughout the season to coming out in full-force to help Orientation Day run smoothly, our volunteers meet every challenge with a smile. Donor
AIDS/LifeCycle is all about raising critical funds to support San Francisco AIDS Foundation and the Los Angeles LGBT Center. You can support AIDS/LifeCycle by making a donation, either to an individual participant or by making a general donation to the AIDS/LifeCycle 2022 General Donation Fund. Every dollar counts, and your donations are put to work immediately!
Our Amazing Route
Our route is a gorgeous, fun, and challenging course for Cyclists of all levels. With the proper training, you will conquer the Golden state.
You'll cruise through 58 towns and 8 counties as you pedal south from San Francisco on your journey to Los Angeles.
Together, we bring the LOVE to AIDS/LifeCycle.
Over the course of seven days, we’ll hear each other’s stories and lift each other up. We’ll laugh together, cry together, and find reserves of strength in each other and ourselves we didn’t know were there.
